Leads that slip through each month, times the share that would turn into jobs, times what a typical job brings in, gives the monthly work you could win back. Subtract the plan price for what is left after the plan; divide by it for the multiple. Typical job values come from published cost guides: HVAC $293 (HomeGuide), plumbing $341, electrical $351, roofing $1,174 and water damage $3,867 (Angi), portable restrooms $199 (Porta Potty Finder), dumpster rental $449 (Dumpster Controls), party and event rental $452 (Madgicx, vendor data). Close rates: HVAC 38%, plumbing 43%, electrical 41% (ServiceTitan 2022 booking rates, vendor data); roofing and restoration 31% (ServiceTitan all-trades figure, not trade-specific); portable restrooms, dumpster and party rental 30%, an estimate borrowed from general home services (ReviewBook). Equipment rental and remodeling are left out because we found no reliable data. Your own numbers always beat an average.
